Overview
Scheduled reports can be used to automatically email a saved report to a user or group of DataXchange users. Maintaining email options can be done from either the user tab or the manage tab. If preformed from the user tab this will only allow for saved reports to be emailed to the current user. If the current account has the correct permissions, it is possible to configure emailed reports to groups of users.
Template selection screen
The template selection will allow you to search, select, create, or modify all of the current Scheduled Reports. You can use the text fields displayed above the Template lists to filter down your selectable options. It is also possible to organize the Scheduled Reports using the column header.
Options for sending emails
The layout during configuring for both, User or group based Scheduled Reports are very similar.
Template Type: Option for report generation type. Choose from the actual report or Excel.
Template Name: Select from the drop down a list of possible saved reports.
Description: This field is generated from the details.
Status: This option is for enabling or disabling the Scheduled Report.
Recurrence Time: Select the time the report should be sent. Note: If the application is opened in a different time zone the scheduled report will always be emailed at the time when it was originally created.
Recurrence Pattern: Select the frequency that the report should be email.
Use the following steps to Schedule an emailed report.
Scheduled emailed reports can be sent at the user or group level. The proper permissions must be assigned to the user in order to access scheduled reports.
To access scheduled options navigate to either the User or Manage tab. Select the Reporting button and select Add Scheduled Reports from the drop down.
