The Modify Time Stamp button can be used to modify the start time of data being entered. For example, if it's currently 11:00 am and the equipment stopped running at 10:00 am, the status will show Unknown Downtime for 60 minutes. Ideally the appropriate downtime should have been entered when the equipment stopped running, however, it was not. The downtime can be entered now, but back dated to 10:00 am allowing the data to be more accurate.
When pressing the Modify Time Stamp button a dialog appears and the date and time will default to the last event that occurred. The date and time cannot be set before the last record that was recorded, but it can be set to anytime between the last event and the current time.
As soon as the Modify Time Stamp button is pressed the Time Stamp label will change to show the overridden time. The date and time will be blue to identify an overridden value. Now when entering new data the overridden data and time will be used rather than the current time.
The Modify Time Stamp button can be controlled by permissions.
Part counts are reset after a new part is started or ended as well as after a shift change.
